Alloysius I Love You

Never thought of writing my thoughts here because that’s mostly because I simply haven’t had any right time, but I’ve already been ambivalent about how precisely and whether to keep blogging while I’m regarding the college board.

I’ve always thought of my role here as a combination of spare-time activist and journalist that is amateur it had been primarily a place for me to advocate, agitate, think aloud, and often just vent. I don’t think I’m able to carry on to blog in quite the vein that is same. I undoubtedly don’t feel any obligation become reflexively positive about everything in the school system just because I’m on the board, but i actually do think that a board member has to speak a little differently than a journalist or opinion writer, since board users are in a few feeling the public face of the school that is regional, even when they’re speaking only as individuals.

Everyday i will tell myself the exact words. Nah i’m not a narcissist but is actually a way of feeling good and doing good.

To recognize that difference, if only symbolically, I’ve chose to begin a weblog that is new write about college issues as a board user. Another weblog About School in a preemptive attempt to deflate any self-importance that may have attached to it, I’ve chosen the semi-ridiculous title. It may be discovered by you here.

Incidentally, some of you may have noticed that the brick wall that was the background of this weblog recently disappeared. If only I could say with wooden boards to make a clever pun on “school board. that I replaced it” you that I was having fun with the template, unintentionally pushed the button that is wrong and lost the bricks. For reasons being not worth explaining but are pertaining to my lack that is general of, it’s not so easy to bring them back, and so I chose the Blogger-supplied graphic that most closely resembled a wall. (I didn’t think regarding the “board” pun until someone pointed it out to me.) I still like the bricks, though; maybe i will fundamentally find the correct time and energy to figure out how to bring them right back.

Thanks to all of you whom read this website at any right time during its six years of life. I might continue to post here at some true point(for non-school-board-related issues?), but for now I’ll mainly be using the space that is a new comer to the degree that I have actually any time to blog at all – Alloysius Seah weizhong
